I started this blog one year ago in the very same state I now currently reside in. This last year, I lost a good friend, gained a few ok ones, learned the guitar, committed my life to a church plant in another state, left a job, that paid me way to much money to do what I did with the experience I didn’t/don’t have, to do so. Moved away from everything I have known for the past 12 years, became a barista. Went to NYC. And now live with a wonderful family, who have graciously allowed me to live in there dining room for the past 4 months.
don’t really know if there is more I could have done in a year as a single now 24 year old dude.
needless to say there was A LOT of change in 12 months. there was a lot I wanted to accomplish this year, and accomplish I did! There was also a lot I did not :(. This next year is going to be just as crazy if not more. What I know of this year so far…
my middle brother will get married
we will launch our church.
I will participate in an experiment that could have the potential to radically change my family and how we do life together.
yikes! already freakin me out and we are only 11 days into this thing!
One thing I know that I do want more of, is conversation. Sadly this medium doesn’t really allow me to do so. My plan now is to lay this blog to rest (in a sense) and to start one in a place that will allow for more, and better conversation. Even though I know that 2 people, maybe 3, will read this, I am aiming high.
So join me won’t you?
as we begin another year in different states, stages of life, and love, maybe we could start one. Or not. Even if we are not in the same place, maybe we could experience it together?
